Episode Description:
They are moving across another Radamu-infected stretch of alien jungle when Miri’s sensors pick
up some strange signals. Noal decides to investigate, despite the presence of Radamu “BEMS” in
the area. Above the omnipresent pods, they can see the ramparts of a castle. They argue for a
few minutes before the door in the castle’s wall, but then it opens and they are greeted by a
butler-robot. It leads them within the walls, and they find that the pods have not penetrated
those stone structures. The castle has been maintained in beautiful shape by its caretakers.
“The young miss is waiting for you,” the robot tells them, and a young woman dressed in an
antique dress and headpiece makes her way down the stairs to them. She introduces herself as
“Gloria”. Miri is the most impressed. Soon they are sitting down for an informal tea. The
girl tells them that her grandfather left her here in the care of the robots. He went out to
battle the aliens, and never came back. She had no where to go so simply remained put. While
the others go off to prepare for dinner, Gloria asks Miri to join her - she’s Gloria’s size and
the lonely young girl wants to see if some of her clothes will fit the young Space Knight
officer. Rebin glories in the full-size beds. D-Boy is a bit uneasy to find this island of
peace admit the sea of Radamu spores, pods and warriors. Miri and Gloria are enjoying
themselves going through the young woman’s closets and deciding what to wear for dinner that
night. The mansion servants - all robots - are preparing the dinner, and Pegas is drafted as
server. The Space Knights are stunned as Miri and Gloria appear, dressed in radiant ball
gowns. Afterwards, Gloria plays the piano while the others listen. Miri asks her about her
grandfather, but she can’t answer. “I’ve been so lonely since he left, Miri,” she says. “Would
you stay and keep me company?” “I - I don’t know,” Miri replies. Meanwhile, Noal and Rebin
are exploring the castle and find a laboratory - behind a thick wood door that is guarded by
sophisticated electronic locks. Rebin finds those locks to be no obstacle. Pegas warns D-Boy
and Aki, looking out a window at the Radamu forest around the castle, that there is growing
Radamu activity. D-Boy runs off to face them, as Rebin and Noal continue to examine the lab.
The two find an old picture of Gloria and her grandfather. On the back is the inscription,
“Happy Birthday to Gloria in the Year 169 August.” “169? But it’s 192, this photo was taken
over 20 years ago - and she looks the same today as she does in this photo!” Noal exclaims.
“What’s going on?” Noal has a horrible suspicion, but before he can voice his thoughts the
castle is rocked by the attack of Radamu warriors. D-Boy turns into Blade. Miri is scared, but
Gloria seems to be unimpressed. Showing remarkable strength, she drags the young Space Knight
officer with her as she says “Don’t worry, Grandfather will take care of everything!” Sol
Tekkaman has joined Blade in fighting the Radamu warriors. The robot butler arrives and lifts
Miri up as Radamu tentacles penetrate into the room, and Aki forces her way in. Gloria keeps
on insisting that her Grandfather will take care of everything, but the robot prevents her from
grabbing Miri’s hand again. “Take her away,” he tells Aki. The robot lifts up Gloria and
follows after. Blade destroys the Radamu attacking the girls. The Radamu continue to tear
apart the castle, as Noal tells the others that Gloria wasn’t human; she was a robot her
“Grandfather” had made to keep him company... *Sigh* Like episode 30, this seems to be a
‘filler’ episode with a rather pointless story.
