Episode Description:
Rebin and his subordinates are hip-deep in fixing the Orbital Ring's computers. Noal and Aki
are helping by testing each facility as Rebin tries to get them back on line. Balzac limps in,
his Tekkaman Green armor looking the worse for wear; he tells them he was separated from D-Boy
and the Marines during a battle with an extremely nasty Radamu warrior. Rebin finishes working
on the connections for the interior video monitors and excitedly pushes Noal away from the
control board. Seconds later he has located D-Boy and Pegas, and has them on a monitor.
"Unfortunately, this doesn't work both ways yet," the bishonen tells them. "We can see him, but
he can't see or hear us." "Near the space port, hmm? We're on our way," Noal tells Aki,
pulling Balzac along in his wake. D-Boy is looking out a port window at the Earth below.
Sadly he remembers Miyuki; then has a vision of a menacing Shinya. Backing up, he runs into
Pegas - and he doesn't seem to remember the robot, telling him to back off. As D-Boy walks
down a corridor, Pegas continues to follow, but now several steps back. D-Boy wants to know
what the robot is doing; Pegas replies that it's his job. "I may be a robot, but my name is
Pegas; I serve the Space Knights as you do," he is told. Aki, followed by the two Tekkamen Sol,
races toward the space port when their way is blocked by debris. They must take a detour through
space to the next section of the Ring. Meanwhile, Sword has found Takaya. Hun Rii remembers
the teasing she got from Kengo's siblings when she first wore Kengo's ring while they were on
the Argo. The memory is bitter sweet. She still wears the ring, even in armor. Takaya initially
thinks it's Evil he's run across. Rebin is still working on repairs. He talks to one of his
technicians, a man whose hair resembles a Brillo pad - and looks an awful lot like Andro, the
name of one of the major characters in the English-language translation of the original
Tekkaman series! They run a test, and discover that they are well on the way to regaining
control of the Orbital Ring's laser cannon. Aki and the two Tekkamen Sol see the blasts and
think it is Radamu attacking; Rebin's voice over their radios reassure them. "Is D-Boy still
in the Space Port?" Aki asks. "Yes," is the reply. D-Boy runs across the damage Sword has done
in the docking bay, and exchanges words with her. His memory is failing badly; Takaya reaches
for his tekkaset, and can't understand why he doesn't have it. Pegas intervenes when Sword attacks.
D-Boy doesn't remember the transformation chamber, either. Sword is stunned by Takaya's
deterioration. She tries to talk him into rejoining Kengo, Shinya and herself. "We can be a
family again," she says. D-Boy still remembers that Sword is the enemy, however, and refuses.
Sword's ensuing attack is thrown off-balance as the Tekkamen Sol blow their way into the
chamber. Aki grabs the nearly unconscious D-Boy as Noal and Balzac try to hold Sword off. Rebin
opens a door and the two use their jets to bodily force Sword outside. D-Boy is asking Aki
where his change crystal is; Pegas explains to her that he's forgotten that he now has to use
the transformation chamber to become Blade. She tells him his crystal was shattered; it is now
in Pegas - he must use the robot become Blade then he won't be damaged further. Sword returns,
blood in her eye. Aki is ignored; she goes to Pegas and re-programs its voice identification
program to accept her commands; she uses the "Tekksetto!" key words to activate the
transformation process. Pegas grabs D-Boy and places him in the chamber. Blade emerges to
continue the fight, becoming Blastor. Sword begins to attack, but Omega orders her to retreat;
she escapes seconds before she would have been blown away. Noal, Balzac and Aki gather around
D-Boy as Rebin has fits about the damage. On the moon, Hun Rii kneels before Omega, who tells
her she's done better than he expected. "I am the commander of the Radamu," he says softly.
"It will be up to Shinya, not you, to eliminate Takaya. You will be in charge of stopping the
humans from gaining full control of the Ring." "I'm sorry, Aki," D-Boy says. "This is my duty,
my destiny. I must stop the other Tekkamen so the rest of you can defeat the rest of the
Radamu." Aki hugs him, tears in her eyes; but she is beginning to accept that D-Boy is driven
by his responsibilities first.
